Hugh Symons' new price book designed to de-mystify the complexities of selling mobile devices connected
Having completed its re-structure Hugh Symons is focussed on the sale of mobility devices that goes beyond simple hardware sales. With applications such as mobile "push" email and line-of-business applications and solutions becoming a priority for SMEs, Hugh Symons is engaging IT and cellular resellers in a partner programme that shares margin based on value delivered.
Hugh Symons has a long history in both mobile hardware and cellular airtime distribution; and has secured favourable commercial relationships with Orange, Vodafone and O2 for data tariffs. Commissions to resellers are scaled on the basis of their input through the connection process, and Hugh Symons' staff is on-hand to guide resellers through the complexities of tariff selection, credit checking, device configuration, SIM provisioning, porting and billing.
In addition to a dedicated team; that are available to help with lead referrals and assisted visits, Hugh Symons has just launched a new monthly connected devices guide that is set to ease the process of qualifying opportunities for a diverse range of products and network offers. Commenting on the new developments Hugh Roper, Managing Director of Hugh Symons stated:
Our strategy has always been to support a reseller community in the development of new technology. Our new business embodies the core values of Hugh Symons while focussing on exciting emerging technologies. The complexities of selling connected mobile devices should not be under-estimated. We have committed resources, systems and processes to the task of aiding resellers that are not used to selling either complex hardware and application solutions or cellular connectivity. We are witnessing significant growth in connected devices with embedded applications and we expect enormous profit opportunities for the independent channel.
Hugh Symons is encouraging many resellers that have a long history trading with them to adopt these technologies and those that have are finding new profit opportunities easy to unlock with their own customer base.
